Drive Ratings
Hmm, looks like Drive won't be on for too much longer. Those are not good numbers. Obviously Fox didn't really want to promote the show too much, otherwise they would have put the premiere and the first few episodes after Idol, the same way they've made previous shows. After a few episodes it probably would have had enough of a following to move it to Monday. Hasn't anyone learned yet that ads are nothing. It's all about location. It probably would have done a little better if it had premiered after 24. I really think American Idol was the answer though. If it couldn't pick up an audience after a few airings after Idol, they could have conclusively determined that it didn't have a chance and cut it before too many people were hooked. As it is now, they'll probably drag it out just long enough for the few people watching it to be really upset and disappointed when they don't get to find out what's going on.
I hoped this rant would be mildly cathartic. It wasn't.
