Thoughts on Lost

So, first of all, I like that Desmond calls people brother because he was a monk for all of a week. Second, I like that if you put Desmond together with Locke and Sayid, they have held every profession known to man. Third, I love Scottish people.

Honestly, did Sawyer really have to talk to Jack to figure out that Kate slept with him because she was upset about Jack and Juliet being together? Because, to me, her "shut up" was obviously code for "don't talk while we have sex so that I can pretend you're Jack." Just because Sawyer is the voice of the audience doesn't mean he has to be stupid. Also, is anyone on the island using birth control? You'd think at least Kate would be since, after last week, she knows all the pregnant women die.

I think there needs to be a website listing all of the English words that Jin knows.

And doesn't it seem like, with all the time flashing about and people in that monk's family telling him what his path is, that Desmond is really important for some reason and should be the main character? It's hard to think that all of this knowing the future stuff is really just an afterthought from the writers, but it's also hard to think it's not when it didn't start until 2 1/2 seasons in.

And finally, the Flash could definitely win in a footrace, but if it were a race where the Flash is running and Superman is flying then it'd probably be a tie.
